We can emotionally ‘immunise’ ourselves against instinctive reactions or fixed biographically-embedded feelings, by discovering the gestures that exactly match them, uniquely for us.
The effects can be immediate and we can actually see our own patterns, experience them and work creatively to match them, watching them dissolve.
We find we can then respond to situations that we used to just react to. We become more present in ourselves, as ‘Captain of our Ship’.
A single session takes just over an hour, from which you can emerge with a practical ‘tool’ of gesture that you will have created yourself.
The session stands complete in itself, so there is no ‘come back next week’. If you did wish further sessions, each one stands alone. The effectiveness of each session lies in your own regular practice of the gesture you will have created.
The experience of the session often has a deeply moving power, but this will only have longer term effectiveness against prevailing emotional habit structures, when the gestures and sounds that you have created are practised regularly. The experience of the session itself, becomes the motivating drive to practise, thus shifting patterns from reaction to responses. This starts to make significant changes to your inner and outer relationships, often very speedily, in days and weeks rather than months.
No analysis or advice is given, you are free to experience your issue at whatever level you need to. You are your own guide in an artistic process of creating gesture, requiring no material medium (no clay, no paint!) and you are completely in charge of where you go with it.

Some reflections received after a session:
I had experienced distress and difficulties dealing with recurring ideas and emotions. On attending a session, I have since been able to deal successfully, and by referring back to it, tackle any recurring experiences. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the session helped me to use my own capacities and imagination, leaving me free to choose my own way, time and judgment to deal with the problem. This is a form of therapy that includes the freedom of the individual at its heart and offers a framework for self-healing.
I would just like to say how empowering and uplifting the session was. For the very first time in my life I can truly understand in a deep way why I have felt certain things and acted in a certain way, and also for the first time ever, I have the skills to help myself.
I felt that there was a great potency in the fact that this session was fundamentally a one –off, and the efficacy of the method was such that it did not need years of therapy, rather my own sustained practising of what I created in the session.
This gives me a tool to work with myself, not being dependent on some therapist or coach. It is a practical, focused method based on fully conscious work with my reactions, fears, anger, uncertainty and other issues arising from my daily work and life.
